Georgia Psychological Society
The Georgia Psychological Society was founded in 2006 to promote research and participation in psychology in the state of Georgia. Since 2011, the Society has held its yearly meeting at different host colleges and universities across Georgia.

Dr. Christopher Stanzione, Georgia Institute of Technology, gave the keynote address at the 2016 meeting of the Georgia Psychological Society meeting at Morehouse College in Atlanta. His presentation was titled "The role of language in cognitive development: What deaf children tell us."
